To be eligible to claim JSA you must be aged over 18 but below State Pension age, work less than 16 hours a week, be actively seeking work and live in the UK.

ESA is a benefit paid to people who are too sick or disabled to work and who meet certain criteria. There are two types of ESA and you may be able to get either or both, depending on your circumstances.
