Debt Recovery - Our Performance this financial year
Council Tax
Our aim is to maximise the collection of Council Tax within the financial year it became due and we have two targets in this area.
The first area is to collect 97% of Council Tax within the financial year.
Our second target is for our performance in this area to be in the top 25% percent of the 36 Metropolitan Authorities against which we are measured.
We currently have collected the following % of Council Tax debt for the current financial year:

Non Domestic Rates
Our aim is to maximise the collection of Non Domestic Rates within the financial year it became due and we have two targets in this area.
The first area is to collect 98.5% of Non Domestic Rates within the financial year.
Our second target is for our performance in this area to be in the top 25% percent of the 36 Metropolitan Authorities against which we are measured.
We currently have collected the following % of Non Domestic Rates debt for the current financial year:

Housing Benefit Overpayments
Our aim is to maximise the collection of overpaid Housing Benefit.
Our target is to collect 41% of all overpaid Housing Benefit within the financial year.
