Rotherham Registration Service is responsible for:
The registration of births, stillbirths, deaths, marriages and civil partnerships which take place within the district boundaries.
The legal preliminaries to marriages and civil partnerships for couples living within the district boundaries (except where the couple are to marry in the Church of England).
Arranging and conducting ceremonies taking place at the Registry Office and at Approved Premises.
Issuing certified copies of entries held in birth, death and marriage registers dating back from the present day to 1837.
