If you are under 30, Rotherham Youth Enterprise can provide self-employment support and advice. Over the last 16 years the scheme has become so successful that Rotherham Youth Enterprise now offers office and workshop provision at five sites to young people aged 16 to 30 years in their first year of trading.

The Retail Investment Team are committed to working with you to provide high-quality support and guidance as well as offering a host of business opportunities, including the Town Centre Business Vitality Grants scheme for eligible niche retailers which provides 50% towards rental costs in the first year and 25% in the second, plus help towards retail fit-out costs (subject to terms and conditions and eligibility criteria). 

The Retail Investment Team were recently successful in securing funding from the Portas Pilot Project and High Street Renewal Fund, which will be used to further strengthen and differentiate the rapidly growing town centre shopping offer.
