Carers

Rotherham Parent Carers Forum

As parents and carers in Rotherham we feel that there is a vital role to be played in shaping and developing the services available to children.

  • Parents are the experts
  • Parents are the prime educators
  • Parents meet the needs of their children on a daily basis
  • Parents see and experience the difficulties arising from gaps in services

Rotherham Parent Carers Forum want to work together with those who provide services for disabled children and their families.  We want to share knowledge, experience and expertise that has been gained to help plan and improve the quality, range and accessibility of services for all disabled children and their families in Rotherham.

Joint working with Health, Education and Social Services will help make a difference and bring about change in local services

The forum aims to:

  • Be a united voice by providing a forum for your views
  • Work in partnership with those who provide services
  • Gather information from parents and carers and highlight common problems
