How to give us feedback

The Council is committed to providing efficient and effective services and we welcome your views on all of our services.

'Tell us Your Views' is the name for the policy we have implemented to deal with compliments, comments, suggestions and complaints from our customers. We aim to resolve complaints quickly, effectively and fairly.

In addition to providing information on our website, 'Tell Us Your Views' Information leaflets are sited in all main Council buildings, outlining the different ways a customer can provide feedback to the Council, and how we will respond.

Complete our online Tell us your views eform

Please note that we have additional on-line forms for requesting services which you may prefer to use if your feedback is not a compliment, comment or complaint.

More Information

Your feedback will either be dealt with as a compliment, comment or complaint. Please note that we will not treat some issues as complaints and, where this is the case, we will tell you for example:

  • If you ask us for a service such as reporting a faulty streetlight needing attention
  • if you ask for information or an explanation of Council policy or practice such as a request for information on our winter gritting policy for icy roads and pavements
  • Any issue that is being dealt with in court such as where we are pursuing legal action against someone in court for giving a false trade description

You are also welcome to contact your local Councillor about any issues that you may need help with.
