Children and Young People's Services
Children and Young People's Services work to support and promote the health, safety, well-being and educational needs of children and young people across the borough.
The Service has the following strategic divisions
- Safeguarding Children and Families
- Schools and Lifelong Learning
- Children and Young People's Health Services
Each division covers a broad variety of functions, ranging from social care, special educational needs and school catering to community arts and children's playgrounds.
The Leadership team, lead by Strategic Director Joyce Thacker [pictured above] also includes Senior Managers from the Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust, the Youth Offending Service and the Voluntary and Community Sector.
