Analysis of returns indicates that disabled and BAME employees are more likely to have had a Performance and Development Review than other groups. The Council continues to increase the number of employees having a review and electronic capture will enable improve the quality of information next year.
The perception amongst BAME employees and employees over 50 is that the Council doesn't provide them opportunity for personal development and growth.
However, this is contradicted by the set of questions regarding the support and opportunity provided by managers for personal development, which indicates these groups have the same or more positive experiences. Employees under 25 have a much higher opinion than any other group.
