The Strategic Director of Resources is Andrew Bedford who is the Councils Responsible Financial Officer.
The Director of Financial Services is Stuart Booth. Financial Services is located within Riverside House, Floor 3, Wing C.
Our role and vision
To ensure proper accountability for, and stewardship of, public monies. This is essential if we are to build further, and maintain, public confidence in the Council and in the services that it delivers.
To use our expertise in financial management to facilitate the delivery of high quality front line services for the people of Rotherham.
Financial Services is split into the following functions:
- Financial strategy
- Business partnering and capital
- Accountancy services and treasury
- External funding
- Systems development
- Transactions management
