Asset Management Service

The Council's Asset Management Service is unique, providing:-

• a comprehensive design, construction, project management and surveying service;
• a fully integrated Facilities Management cleaning and caretaking services;
• Corporate Health and Safety;
• Corporate Emergency Planning;
• Corporate Transport for the vehicle fleet.

Major partnerships with the public and private sector are key elements of service delivery and these include:-

• Rotherham Construction Partnership, providing £30 million per annum of building works with strategic partners
• Schools' PFI with Haden FM for cleaning and hygiene,
• Emergency Planning with Emergency Services and NHS,
• Transport (vehicle Fleet) through TransLinc Ltd.

Future service developments include taking the new opportunities of power to trade and the Gershon procurement reforms. Asset Management is well placed to improve services using these to the full.
