Attachment of Earnings - Employer Information
What must you do with an Attachment of Earnings Order you have received
The Attachment of Earnings Order is a legal document and places certain duties on the employer and the debtor alike. Failure to carry out these could lead to a fine.
You will have received a booklet with the Attachment of Earnings Order which explains how it should be implemented however should you have any questions regarding its implementation your should ring 01709 - 336006 Monday to Friday on 01709 - 336006 from 8:30am - 5:30pm.

What do you do if the person named on the Attachment of Earnings Order is no longer in your employment
You should advise of the following within 14 days and could be liable to a fine if you fail to do so:
- Where you receive an Attachment of Earnings Order for someone who you do not employ
- Where an employee for who you have received an Attachment of Earnings Order leaves your employment
Inform us if the person has left the employment or has never worked for you
