Our contractors are encouraged to develop good equality practice, which provides many benefits for businesses and the local community. Recent changes in legislation mean that Councils must promote age, disability, gender reassignment, pregnacy and maternity, race, religion or belief, sex and sexual orientation equality in all areas of our work.
Relevant equality considerations are built in to each stage of our procurement processes. Support is available to help you meet our criteria.
