Many enquiries can be answered quickly from our own resources and we are more than willing to contact other information providers on your behalf.

Looking for local or family history information? There is a dedicated Archives and Local Studies service which offers you expert help in finding information on local and family history.

Most of our libraries take national or local newspapers, which may be read in the library. The latest issues are on display and back issues are available on request.

And don't forget that we subscribe to a range of online resources - ideal for those of you who prefer to do your own research!
