Parent Partnership

Rotherham Parent Partnership Service

This service is available to all parents/carers of children who have learning difficulties, disabilities and/or special educational needs (SEN) and can help you play an important part in your child's education.

we offer:

  • confidential advice and information on special educational needs from staff and trained volunteers (independent parental supporters) 
  • information about education, health and social care, voluntary organisations and support groups
  • parent information sharing workshops on a variety of topics
  • information leaflets. 
  • access to SEN information, including books, CDs and videos 
  • training for parents and professionals. 
We can also:
  • help you to communicate with schools and other services that may be involved with your child.
  • go to meetings with you in school or with other services involved with your child. 
  • look at the choices that are available for your child 
  • Help you to put your views in writing and make sense of the letters, reports and documents you receive.
