What information you need to provide

Most applications will need to provide:

  • Location plan - scale 1:1,250 or 1:2,500, with the boundary of the property clearly marked in red
  • Site/block plan - scale 1:200 or 1:500, indicating the exact location of the alteration or extension
  • Existing and proposed elevations plan - scale 1:50 or 1:100
  • Existing and proposed floor layouts plan - scale 1:50 or 1:100  
  • Planning fee

Applications for listed buildings or sites in a conservation area will also need a design and access statement.
