Does childcare in Rotherham meet your needs?

Childcare Provision Survey

As a statutory duty of The Childcare Act 2006 Rotherham Council is required to complete a Childcare Sufficiency Assessment every three years. This is a measurement of the childcare provision within Rotherham. It takes into account the extent and nature of childcare that is available whilst also assessing the need for childcare based on the views of parents and carers and the number of children residing in the borough.

The first Childcare Sufficiency Assessment was published in March 2008.

An annual update was produced to incorporate changes across the borough - The Rotherham Childcare Sufficiency Review 2009-2010

The Childcare Sufficiency Assessment for 2011 is now available. If you have any questions about the assessment please email us or contact the Early Years and Childcare Service on 01709 822549.
