Advice for driving in wintry conditions:

• Drive with care and regard for the conditions;
• Allow additional time for your journey and if necessary consider alternative routes;
• Be aware that parts of your route may not have been treated
• Allow for increased stopping distance and do not  brake or accelerate harshly;
• Be more aware of pedestrians and cyclists who may be in greater difficulty because of the conditions.
