Pothole Action Fund

The Government has identified extra funding for councils to carry out road repairs to help prevent potholes.

In 2017/18 Rotherham received a grant of £295,000 for road repairs. This is extra funding on top of the Council’s planned highway maintenance budgets.

The additional funding is being used to carry out permanent repairs to a large number of additional locations, targeting areas which are frequently affected by potholes or reported by customers.
