Closed Circuit Television

Rotherham has many CCTV cameras mounted on poles and on buildings around the town centre.

The cameras provide security for the public and property, including some car parks. They also help with crime reduction and with the apprehension and conviction of offenders.

The Council works in partnership with the Police in the management and maintenance of the CCTV system.
