Emailed newsletters

We regularly send newsletters by email to customers who have registered on our website and have said that we may send them information. Our newsletters cover local issues such as news, events, leisure, jobs, housing and much much more. The format is brief snippets with links that you can follow to our webpages if you want more detail.

You need to register on our website to be able to receive our newsletters.

Registering with us is quick, easy and free. There are lots more benefits to registering. Learn about registering and create an account.

We won't share your details with anyone outside the Council.

Have an account, but don't get the newsletters?

If you are registered with the website but you aren't getting our newsletters, you're missing out! You need to change your settings:

• Login. You can do this using the link at the top right hand corner of every webpage.
• Go to change your details. (You must be logged in)
• Look for the box: "I would like to be contacted regarding news, updates and offers." and make sure its ticked.
• Look for the section "Please tell us what you are interested in" and tick one, several or all of the boxes.

Already get the newsletters? tell us what you think

To opt out:

• Login. You can do this using the link at the top right hand corner of every webpage.
• Go to change your details.
• Look for the box: "I would like to be contacted regarding news, updates and offers." and make sure its not ticked.

Cancel registration

If you would like your details to be completely removed from our database you can't do this yourself. Please email us at website@rotherham.gov.uk. If you are not emailing from your registered email address please tell us what that is. We may contact you to verify the request is genuine.
