Military

Soldiers that died in the Great War and soldiers that died in the Second World War CDs are available to use.
They contain the names of all army casualties in the two World Wars and can be searched by any combination of name, regiment, number and date of death.

We hold the archive collection of the York and Lancaster Regiment and the Regimental library.

The library holds information on:

  • military history
  • battles
  • medals
  • uniforms and insignia
  • other aspects of military life
