April 2010 - March 2011 Welfare Rights

  • New Clients - 649 (assessing and applying for benefits, revisions, supersessions and appeals)
  • Welfare Rights Officers maximised client's annual income by £861,963.00
  • Many benefits are awarded for 1, 2 or 3 years which mean clients will re-enter the system for assistance with renewed claims. Such clients are identified as new clients for our purposes

April 2010 - March 2011 Money Advice

  • New Clients - 442 (prioritising and advising on Debt)
  • During this period Money Advice advised on overall debt of £10,674,916.00
  • Over the year the Money Advice Service also generated an income maximisation figure for clients of in excess of £13,000.00 and assisted in getting £1,624,000.00 of debt written off

 
June 2010 - May 2011 Macmillan

  • New clients - 882 (assessing and applying for benefits, Macmillan grants, revisions, supersessions and appeals)
  • Macmillan Welfare Rights Service maximised client's annual income by £3,254,810.00
