Organising an Event
If you are organising an event which is to be held on the highway or in a public place, you need to complete an event application form which is in the Event Pack.
The Council's Event Pack includes the following information:
- Section 1 - Event Application Form
- Section 2 - Event Risk Assessment Guidance Notes and Form
- Section 3 - Terms and Conditions
- Section 4 - Event Advice and Information
The Event Pack is available as a PDF for printing or in RTF format so you can fill in the form using your word processing software.

If your event is approved you will receive a letter confirming that the event can go ahead. The hire charge of £9.50 per 0.5 hectares per hour and £15.50 administration costs will need to be paid six weeks prior to the event.
