Making an appointment

Rotherham register office offers an appointment service for the registration of births, stillbirths and deaths and to make arrangements for a marriage or civil partnership.

Appointments are available at Riverside House Monday to Friday 9:00 to 17:30.

Appointments for registering a birth, still birth or death last about 30 minutes.

We also offer the Tell Us Once service, this helps citizens to notify key central and local government services that they have had a baby or a bereavement. This is delivered by the registration officer and takes place immediately after the registration. A Tell Us Once appointment lasts about 15 minutes.

Marriage appointments last about 45 minutes.
