Mobile Library
The Mobile Library visits a mixture of small and rural communities and urban areas who don't have easy access to a static library site. The Mobile Library has books, talking books and information. Customers can also request items from all our other library sites for free.
The Mobile Library visits these areas on a fortnightly rota: Week 1 and Week 2.
Week 1 covers Whiston, Flanderwell, Catcliffe, Swallownest, Woodhouse Mill, Kilnhurst, Rawmarsh, Harthill, Woodhall, Hellaby, Blackburn and Treeton.
Week 2 covers Ravenfield, Thrybergh, Scholes, Brampton, Harley, Wentworth, Sunnyside, Woodlathes, Laughton, Todwick, Aston, Firbeck, Letwell, South Anston, Thorpe Salvin and Woodsetts.

This is a specialist mobile library which serves residential establishments and sheltered accommodation. It incorporates a free video and talking books loan service. We have a range of fiction and non-fiction books, in both ordinary and large print, together with talking books on tape and CD. We also stockvideos and DVDs. Customers can request items from us and from all our other library sites for free. Bookability visits most stops on a fortnightly basis, however some stops are visited monthly.
