Cenotaph and Memorial Gardens

The Cenotaph and Memorial Gardens are getting a make-over to make a lasting tribute to those who gave their lives. The important character of the gardens will remain unchanged and work will be carried out to restore the stonework on the Cenotaph, the wall surrounding the gardens and of course a working fountain!

The memorial gardens have been renowned for their floral displays since the 1950's.  To maintain this important tradition, a team of dedicated gardeners will maintain these and the other flower beds in the park once the restoration is complete.
