Waterplay

Children playing in the Paddling Pool

Children playing in the Paddling Pool

The paddling pool has given enjoyment to generations of Rotherham children. It's now 70 years old! Maybe now it time for a change.

The play area is funded separately  from the main restorations work DCSF Logowithfunding from the Department for Children, Schools and Families.

In total £400,000 will be spent on facilities for children from 0 to 19, we hope it will be enjoyed by people of all ages.

The aim is to create a fun water play space for families and children. The new water features will have fountains which you control by jumping and moving, a flowing pool where you can use your imagination to channel the flow of water and a pool for splashing about in. An ice cream kiosk will provide refreshments, supervision and changing facilities.

It's your park
