If you are at risk of being homeless

The homelessness service provides help to people who meet certain criteria. We offer advice and help to anyone who thinks they may become homeless.

We will always try to help you avoid becoming homeless in the first instance eg: we can help you stay in your own home or find a new home.

We can help you to negotiate with your landlord on issues such as repayment arrangements and repair issues. If appropriate we can help you explore all your housing options.

If you have already looked at your options and are still at risk of becoming homeless, the Council may be able to offer support. This support could include housing, money, health and employment issues.
