Find out about the Care Act

In April 2015 the Care Act was introduced to make care and support more consistent across the Country.

‘Care and support’ is the term used to describe the help some adults need to be able live with an illness or disability. It can include help with things like washing, dressing, eating, getting out and about and keeping in touch with family and friends.

If you are a carer you could also benefit from the Care Act changes.

The Act also requires us to improve information and advice, ensure that people get information and advice early and help them make informed choices about their care and support.
