Why the JSNA is being refreshed
For the JSNA to remain a meaningful needs assessment, its content must be updated to reflect Rotherham's changing population and new information as it becomes available. Although the 2011 JSNA was a comprehensive and detailed assessment of local needs at the time, it has become out of date and is limited as a fixed document. The Rotherham Health and Wellbeing Board acknowledged that the JSNA should change from being a fixed document to become an online process allowing for gradual enhancement and updating to improve accessibility and relevance.
