Dog Warden
To make a report or enquiry including a lost or stolen dog, contact us.
The Council has an active dog warden team which ensures people follow the law regarding dog fouling and straying dogs. The penalties differ depending on the type and seriousness of the offence:
- Fixed penalty fines of £80 for dog fouling;
- Fines through Court of up to £1,000.
We normally respond to requests for service within 4 working days. For some issues, we aim to respond immediately or within the day.
