Externally Funded Projects
Rotherham Archives and Local Studies Service has completed a number of externally funded projects which involved outreach work and have improved access to collections.
Book of Delights Project - Rockingham Pattern Book - Public ownership of the rare book of patterns used in the the Swinton (Rockingham) Pottery between c.1825 and the 1830s.
Rolling out the Archives - Education, Access and cataloguing of the service's unique archives
Shafts of Light - Access to and cataloguing of South Yorkshire's Coal mining records
Viewfinder - This involved the digitisation of the service's photograph collection
Opening the Doors to Family History - This involved the creation of a family history resource aimed at Entry Level 1 - 3 literacy, numeracy and speaking and listening skills.
