Rother Valley Country Park

Why not visit the award winning Rother Valley Country Park?

There are activities for everyone on 300 hectares of countryside. The park has a nature reserve with footpaths, bridleways, cycle routes and cycle hire, orienteering, birdwatching and fishing.

The leisure lake hosts many activities including sailing, canoeing,
cable water-skiing, jet ski club, zorbing, windsurfing and model boat sailing.

There are adventure playgrounds including Play Dales play area,
a golf course and driving range and a miniature railway has recently
been installed at this vast country park.

Events are hosted throughout the year including Triathlon, Hovercraft Championships and charity fund raising events.

This is the site of the planned YES project "Yorkshire Entertainment Sensation" being developed by Oak Holdings.

It is identified a possible training camp site for Yorkshire Gold 2012.
