Household waste - rubbish collections

We provide collections on a two weekly cycle to most of the borough. The first week of the cycle is called WK1 and the second week is WK2. Generally refuse will be collected in one of the weeks and recyclables in the other week. On a few streets, we may not provide paper or blue-box or green waste collections due to local reasons.

There are 3 types of schedule:

• Refuse in WK1 and recylables in WK2
• Refuse in WK2 and recylables in WK1
• Refuse every week and some recyclables in either WK1 or WK2

Search for your street and find out your collection day, which collections we make and which schedules apply to your street. There will be special arrangements over the Christmas and New Year bank holidays.
