Bulky Waste Collection Service
The Council's Bulky Waste Collection Service helps with the removal of larger household items such as furniture and electrical appliances.
The service has two charging structures;
- £21.00 for up to 3 items, then £15.00 for each further 3 items up to a maximum of 9 items. This includes furniture items and electrical goods including fridge/freezers. Rothercard holders qualify for a 50% discount.
- DIY items such as bathroom suites, window frames, doors etc can also be collected. The charge is £39.93 for up to 3 items, then £25.00 for each further 3 items, up to a maximum of 9 items.
Ways to pay:
- Over the phone when you place your order by using your Switch, Delta, Visa or Mastercard
- In person at any of our Customer Service Centres
- By postal order or cheque in the post
When we recieve your payment, we will tell you the date when we will collect your items. On the day of collection, the items must be accessible outside your house from 7:00am. Our collector is unable to collect from inside your house or garage.
