School Crossing Patrols

School crossing patrols are provided where children are in danger from road traffic when walking to and from school, and could be anywhere on a direct route, not necessarily directly outside a school.

To report a problem with an existing school crossing patrol, contact Facilities Services.

If you would like to request a new school crossing patrol, contact our Transportation Unit. We will then carry out a survey of the area to see if it meets the national criteria.
