Litter

The Council has a duty to keep the streets clean.

Clean streets and public areas help to improve the quality of the local environment for residents and give a good impression of neighbourhoods to vistors and potential investors.

We provide over 2,440 litter bins on streets throughout the borough and are emptied regularly.

Dropping litter is an offence which could result in a fine being issued to the culprit!
