Landscape Design Team

Who we are:

The Landscape Design Team forms part of the Community Delivery Unit of Rotherham Streetpride. The team provides a consultancy service to help develop and deliver improvements on Council-owned land.

In addition to clients from within the Council, the team carries out work for Parish Councils, Groundwork Dearne Valley, schools and community groups.

What we do:

We design and oversee the implementation of a wide range of environmental improvements. These vary in value and complexity, and include:

• Urban design
• Housing regeneration
• Commercial developments
• Parks and open spaces; children's play areas
• School improvements, including creating 'Positive Playgrounds' in support of the Rotherham Healthy Schools programme.
• Day-care and community-centre grounds.
• Fencing, feature metalwork and signage.
• Land reclamation.
• 'Soft' landscape - trees, shrubs, and grass.

We also provide advice to the Council's Planning and Development Control sections as well as assisting clients with planning applications and conditions submissions.
