Business Community Support
Barnsley and Rotherham Chamber of Commerce & Industry have a team of Business Community Support Officers (BSCOs) ready to provide help to the borough's businesses in the communities of North, South and Central Rotherham. The support to the business concentrates on the functional areas of the business, ensuring that improvements can be made that that will either sustain or grow the business.
BCSOs adopt a proactive engagement approach of introducing themselves to businesses in person at the business premises, promoting all the business support services now available throughout Rotherham. Each BCSO has a business background, creating a team with knowledge and experience of a variety of sectors and functional expertise. The team can call on each persons' expertise when needed, ensuring that the business's individual needs are met, making the provision responsive to the bespoke requirements of each business.
