Many creative people experience difficulties in working alone, without support and feedback from fellow artists. The Community Arts Service can help artists to get in touch with each other and build support networks through the Creative Networks! quarterly events. Artists who are looking to work in the area should register on the free online database hosted by ROAR, ARTSEARCH. Details of this are on the Artists in Rotherham page.

We also publish information about opportunities of use to local artists on the Arts Opportunities training and events page.

Community Art Projects

The Community Arts Service can help you with ideas for arts projects. We can help you to organise activities, find the funding, find artists and provide support and expertise to help turn your ideas into reality. We also run music, dance and arts projects with community groups and in residential homes across the borough. For information about Community Arts Team projects visit:

If you would like to take part in any of these activities, or would like us to work with you to develop your own ideas for events in your community please contact us.
