Are you looking for an artist or an arts group to work with, or are you an artist or group wanting to promote your work?

ARTSEARCH for Artists

ARTSEARCH is a database of local artists and groups who meet, live or work in the Rotherham area. ARTSEARCH is now hosted by the Rotherham Open Arts Renaissance (ROAR) website

Looking for an artist? Go to the  ROAR ARTSEARCH page and search by artform or by name.

Wanting to promote your work? As an artist, you can have your own log-in to access and amend your details, and add further content including audio, video, film, images, text and links to your own sites. Your own entry will come with a unique access code making it secure. This will still be a free service, and you do not need to join ROAR to have your details on ARTSEARCH.

To have your details on the new ARTSEARCH facility, contact the Chief Executive of ROAR, Karen Sherwood, through the website or by email to karen@rotherhamroar.org You will be given log-in details and your own password to input your details, and amend and personalise them as required. ROAR will support you in using this site; call ROAR on 01709 369435 if you experience any problems.

If you do not wish to have your details on the ROAR site, but would like Cultural Services to retain your details, please contact the Community Arts service at community.arts@rotherham.gov.uk or call 01709 823636.

ROAR is registered in accordance with the Data Protection Act, 1998. However, the Council remains the owner of the information, and management of ARTSEARCH will revert to the Council in the event of the dissolution of ROAR or any breach of agreement.
