Employment Land Review 2010
As part of providing a robust evidence base to help inform and prepare Local Development Framework documents the Council has undertaken an update of its Employment Land Review.
This has considered again how much land might need to be provided for new economic development to 2027. It has also assessed the suitability for continued or potential use for economic purposes of a range of sites across Rotherham, including those which have been suggested to us as part of early Site Allocations work.
You now have the opportunity to comment on the updated Employment Land Review prior to it being finalised. The document is available on our LDF Consultation Portal where you can make comments on parts of the document or in relation to specific questions.
To make comments through the online portal you need to be registered, which is a quick and easy process. Further details of how to make comments and register are available in this 'how to' guide.
For comments not submitted through our online portal, please note we cannot accept those that are anonymous or without full contact information. Please ensure that any comments submitted by email or writing include your full name, address, postcode and telephone number (in case of any query).
Your details will be added to our database to automatically receive updates regarding the Local Development Framework. If you do not wish us to contact you again please let us know in your comments.
Hard copies of the Employment Land Review can be made available on request however a small charge may be made to cover costs of printing.
The closing date for comments is 23rd July 2010.
