Local Development Scheme
The Local Development Scheme sets out a programme for preparing the documents that will make up the Local Development Framework (LDF). It is intended to:
- Set out the subject matter, geographic coverage, development plan status and inter-relationships of LDF documents
- Establish and reflect priorities for the LDF and set out associated work programming and resource allocation
- Give a timetable and set milestones for the preparation and review of documents
The Local Development Scheme was last updated and approved in March 2007. Further updates are pending any changes required by the Localism Act and associated regulations.
The table below gives an indicative timetable for programmed LDF documents. This timetable is subject to review.
