Sports Action Groups and Forums
Several Forums and Sports Action Groups have been set up in partnership with Governing Bodies, School sports Partnerships, local clubs, facilities, relevant partner agencies and Sports Development to provide a co-ordinated approach to the development of specific opportunities at a local level.
We have the following Forums in Rotherham:
Disability Sport & Physical Activity Forum
The Disability Sports Forum was set up to bring together key partners to improve and develop opportunities as part of the Active Ability programme, for people with a disability to participate and achieve in sport and physical activity. The Forum was established in 2005 and has now been in operation for 5 years, the forum has a clear three development plan which links to all relevant partner prioirities.

Mega Active Providers Forum
The Mega Active providers Forum was set up 5 years ago to bring together Key partners and organisations working to coordinate and develop the Mega Active programme, to ensure comprehensive and varied programme of activity for young people across the borough.

Walking Action Group
A group that brings together key organisations to improve walking opportunities for Rotherham people by sharing information and resources and developing existing and new initiatives.
