Play Safe

Sports Development Play Safe

Play Safe has been developed for 8 - 24 year olds. The scheme includes Street Sport and Diversionary Sport activities. Street sport activities aim to engage young people in more positive physical activity.

Activities are delivered in a community setting utilising multi-use games areas, parks and community halls etc.

Diversionary sport has been developed to target young people who may already be offending or at risk of offending.

Sports Development Play Safe

Offering participation opportunities and encouraging young people to develop their own skills and abilities as sports leaders through:

  • Football activities
  • Multi-sport activity
  • Sports Leadership Training
