Respect Standard for Housing Management

The Council and RotherFed have signed up to Respect Standard for Housing Management - a volutary standard for social landlords.

The Respect Standard is part of the government's Respect Action Plan, which aims to ensure that we tackle unacceptable behaviour and its causes to improve quality of life for residents.

It highlights the importance of strong housing management in tackling anti-social behaviour and creating a culture of respect.

Organisations are encouraged to work in partnership with other local agencies, such as the police, to meet the targets. The Council and RotherFed work with tenants and local communities to raise awareness of the scheme.
