We will encourage you to make sure you are registered with a GP local to you.
We are in walking distance to Doncaster Gate Surgery and work closely with them to make sure our young people are looked after especially if they are worried or scared about visiting the GP.
We have a nurse who visits the Journey regularly. This is a man called Dave. He can advise you about healthy lifestyles as well as provide general advice on health and well being.
Rotherham Drug and Alcohol Service (ROADS)
The drug and alcohol service in Rotherham is called ROADS (Rotherham Drug and Alcohol Service) which are part of the national charity With You. They have specialist pathways for young people and adults as well as a transitions worker to help people who are transitioning for the young people’s pathway to the adults pathway. They offer a variety of free, confidential services to anyone who has drug or alcohol concerns including both advice and structured treatment.

An additional source of support is DrinkCoach. DrinkCoach is an online tool for people wanting to assess and cut down on their drinking.
Available on the website is: a quick alcohol test to help you assess your current levels of drinking, tips and facts about units and cutting down and free 1:1 online coaching sessions with a professional if anyone needs them. This service is free for anyone 18+ living in Rotherham.
