Mega Active is a year round programme that offers every child or young person in Rotherham an opportunity to participate and achieve in sport and physical activity through quality coaching, progressive activity and pathways to further development and continuation.

Mega Active currently provides:

• Multi-sport Clubs across the borough
• Rotherham Rockets Fun Athletics Programme
• Mega Active Summer & other holiday provision

Monday 19th December- Wednesday 21st December at Herringthorpe Stadium

Activities include Football, Cricket, Basketball, Kangoo, Athletics and many more....

10am - 12 for 5 to 7 year olds, £2.50 per session

10am - 3pm for 8 to 16 year olds, £5.00 per session

What does this mean?

The Mega Active Summer Programme has been recognised as part of the London 2012 Inspire programme and Awarded the Inspire mark

The Inspire Programme is a once in a lifetime opportunity for individuals and organisations across Yorkshire to be part of the London 2012 Games - now. The Programme recognises outstanding non-commercial projects and events inspired by the games coming to the UK .

They are looking for innovative projects that are about excellence, personal best and participation; across the themes of sport, culture, education, sustainability, volunteering and business opportunities.

Yorkshire already boasts several outstanding Inspire projects, including Today's Youth: Tomorrow's Leaders, the region's first Inspire education programme. Our aim is to open up hundreds of opportunities like this and inspire people throughout the region to join in!
