Council services on the move

Published Wednesday 10th March 10

The Council's Crinoline House building is closing to the public on Friday March 26.

All Council services currently delivered from there will be re-opening for business as usual on Monday March 29, 2010 from Norfolk House (next to the Central Library).

The moves are all part of the wider Renaissance of Rotherham that involves the disposal or refurbishment of key council buildings.

Staff from the Eric Manns and the Civic Buildings have already moved into the former Doncaster Gate Hospital, which is now the base for the Chief Executive, Financial and Legal Services departments.

Once buildings such as Crinoline House become free, the sites will then be disposed of by the authority for redevelopment.
