NHS cyber attack - update for customers

NHS services across England and Scotland have been hit by a global cyber-attack.

Following the global cyber attack that took place on Friday 12th May, all external email was blocked by the Council, as a precautionary measure. This action was taken to stop the potential infection of Council IT systems. 

Work has been carried out over the weekend to ensure that all Council IT systems are protected. 

The Council is now receiving external emails.

The Council’s website and online transactions continue to be unaffected.
